New High Barrier sHDPE for Cast Film and Extrusion Coating Applications

摘要

Moisture barrier developments in the past few years have focused on blown film products and applications with little development in other areas. A new sHDPE resin designed for cast film and extrusion lamination/coating applications will be presented showing significant improvements in moisture barrier properties in both cast film and extrusion lamination/coating applications. This new product will add another tool in the toolbox of a package material designer, and open up potentially new value chain opportunities.
