摘要

Angular resolution is crucial for scanning radar system. Angular resolution of real aperture radar (RAR) is decided by the size of the antenna aperture. In this paper, a novel method of improving angular resolution based on maximum a posteriori (MAP) framework is proposed. Firstly, scanning radar signal model is illustrated, and then an iterative deconvolution based on MAP algorithm that improves angular resolution is derived. Simulation results show that the method can efficiently improve angular resolution; then real radar experiment results validate the effectiveness of this method.
