This paper is intended to investigate the effects of non-ideal factors related to reference signal reconstruction technique on clutter cancellation performance in DTMB-based passive radar. The considered non-ideal factors are carrier frequency offset, sampling frequency offset and sampling time offset. These effects can not only degrade the clutter cancellation gain but also cause false side peaks in the Doppler dimension and certain range cells. The analyses are verified by experimental data, which also show a significant improvement on target detection when these non-ideal factors are compensated.
