Tunable DPSK demodulation using variable optical delay in a straight-line interferometric structure

Bit-rate tunable demodulation for DPSK signals has been demonstrated in a relatively compact straight-line structure. The demodulation utilizes a tunable delay based on wavelength conversion and dispersion. Demodulations at 5 and 10 Gb/s have been successfully demonstrated.
