摘要

The paper presents the results of comparative tests of two x-ray systems used for non-destructivetesting of ammunition - Electron Linear Accelerator and MU17F 225-9 system. Described diagnostickits come from different manufacturers, one is a German company YXLON - MU17F 225-9 and thesecond set is of Polish production and was developed at the National Center for Nuclear Research(NCBJ). The study describes each X-ray system in terms of their technical parameters. Then differenttypes of ammunition selected for testing, having: different thickness of the body walls, diverse fill ofthe projectile and the complexity of the structure. Then, tests of each kind of ammunition wereperformed using two systems. The received X-ray images were subjected to image processing andanalyses were carried out for an evaluation of the each system suitability for ammunition diagnostictesting.
