Certificate less Public Key Cryptography (CLPKC) as a new paradigm was introduced by Al-Riyami and Paterson in Asia crypt 2003, which removes the use of certificate to ensure the authenticity of the userȁ9;s public key in the traditional certificate-based public key cryptography and also overcomes the key escrow problem in the identity-based public key cryptography. However, it does suffer from an attack called Denial-of-Decryption (DOD) attack as its nature is similar to the well known Denial-of-Service(DOS)attack. In ASIACCS 2007, K. Liu, M. Au and W. Susilo proposed a new paradigm called Self-Generated-Certificate Public Key Cryptography(SGC-PKC) that captures the DoD Attack. Moreover, they provided a generic construction of a self-generated certificate public key encryption scheme in the standard model but without a self-generated-certificate public key signature scheme. In this paper, to the best of our knowledge, we give the first precise definition and security notions for Self-Generated-Certificate Digital Signature and then the first concrete signature scheme which is provably secure under the CDH assumption.
