A new analysis method of crop cultivars regional test

By means of the principle of information entropy, the authors established a comprehensive assessment model of crop cultivars, proposed a new method of poly-target comprehensive assessment for cultivars. Combining an actual example of regional test of wheat cultivars in South Huanghuai Plains in 2005–2006, application of the method was recommended, and some significant conclusions were drawn. This showed that the method had an important guiding meaning for evaluating cultivars objectively and scientifically.
