The NGI 2010 conference is the continuation of the series of highly successful events held in Rome, Valencia, Trondheim, Krakow and Aveiro. It was organized by Télécom ParisTech, Paris as a member of the Network of Excellence (NoE) Euro-NF (former Euro-NGI), initiated by the European Commission within its 7th Framework Programme. The NGI conference is a key event contributing to reach the EU targets of integrating the European research efforts in the area of Next Generation Internet and to strengthen the collaboration with non-European researchers and institutions. In particular, NGI 2010 focused on the design, engineering, and operation of Next Generation Internet networks.
