Study on the Pre-Treatment for Landfill Leachate by Fenton Reagent

Landfill leachate pre-treatment was studied by Fenton reagent composed of FeSO₄ldr7H₂O and H₂O₂. The different effect factors of CODcr were studied, such as pH value, Fenton reagent under different dosages, the molar ratio of ferrous ion to H₂O₂ and reaction time. The results indicated: when the pH value was 3.0, the dosages of H₂O₂ was 0.25 mol, FeSO₄ldr7H₂O and H₂O₂ in the molar proportion was 10 to 1 and reaction time was 1.5 hour, the higher CODcr removal efficiency was obtained, reached 64.7%.
