Foundation reinforcement and performance of tall building in Brazil

摘要

This article presents a case of monitoring of settlement in order to identify the performance of the foundation of a building with 26 stories built in the Metropolitan Area of Recife, Brazil. From the results of the monitoring of the building, reinforcement was conceived and executed for its foundations with dangerous settlement. The reinforcement was performed while the building remained occupied and stabilization of the settlement was obtained.
