Extremal Ranks of Matrix Expression A-BXC Over A Skew Field

Through a joint matrix decomposition of matrix triplet [C, A, B] over a skew field, we get the extremal ranks of matrix pencil A - BXC .As applications, the general solution of matrix equation Bxc = A is derived and the extremal ranks of solution X is also given.
