Causes and Solutions on Operation Difficulties of No. 5 2000 m3 BF of Handan Iron Steel Co

The No.5 BF of Handan Iron & Steel Co failed to smoothly operate since November 2006. It did not work properly until an adjustment was made in May, 2008. The paper analyses the adjustment process and describes the relationship between Smelting and refined material, the characteristics of copper stave and the role of humidified blast, only to be reference for blast furnace of same type.
