Given the status quo of Chinese iron ore resources characteristic of poor, thin, impure and disperse, import of iron ore has been pricing increasingly high, and production cost of ironmaking in Honghe Steel has also rested top. To that end, Honghe Steel makes lab tests and industrial experiments on exploration and exploitation of Quy Sa limonite in an objective of taking advantage of Quy Sa deposit in Lao Cai of Vietnam to support our ore utilization structure against market risk. A series of technical means are concluded consequently to realize effective application of Quy Sa limonite to blast furnace smelting while keeping the target level of technical and economic figures.
