As an important heat removal method in Temperature and Humidity Independently Control System (THICS), radiant panel can remove the heat directly from the heat source by radiation, as a result to reduce heat exchanging steps and improve heat removal efficiency. This paper discusses the heat removal efficiency of different radiant cooling panel positions. By using CFD simulation method, analyze and compare the different position impact on the cooling capacity, indoor operative temperature and radiant/convection heat exchange ratio of radiant panels. Several cases of different indoor heat distribution are concerned.
