摘要

A novel injectable in situ gelling thermosensitivechitosan–block–poly(ethylene glycol) formulation hasbeen recently synthesized for drug delivery applications.Block copolymerization of monomethoxy-poly (ethyleneglycol) onto chitosan using potassium persulfate as aninitiator was carried under nitrogen. In this study, effectsof the initiator concentration and feed mole ratio onpolymerization variables were studied. Based on theexperimental results, the feed mole ratio has a directeffect, while KPS concentration must be optimized basedon reaction conditions.
