Attractiveness of hydropower project in the Philippines: The public-private partnership

The National Power Corporation's (NPC) experience in quickly resolving the power crisis that hit the country during the late 80's and early 90's can be largely attributed to the involvement of private enterprise in putting in place a number of power plants to support NPC's existing but aging plants.
