Considering the specialty of long span space reticulate shells and the advantage and disadvantage of the response spectrum method and the time history response method, by means of regress method, the practical modified response spectrum method is put forward considered the error which is caused by the response spectrum method, by which the result is more precise and which will provide the theoretical basis and guidance.
