This paper presents an experimental study of wood beam-columns under compression with biaxial load eccentricity. The objective is to evaluate the stability capacity of the wood beam-column and its lateral bracing requirements with consideration of various material properties, loading conditions and lateral bracing stiffness. The results elucidate fundamental understanding of the structural behavior of wood beam-columns from the perspective of stability capacity and provide input data for verification of theoretical or numerical models.
