摘要

Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) using a liquid state fuel is a kind of ideal energy source. However, the high cost of platinum (Pt) and the low performance are serious problems. In this study, the effects of fluorinated graphite nanofibers(GNFs) on the preparation of platinum (Pt) and ruthenium (Ru) alloy catalysts were investigated by analyzing surface functional groups of GNFs. The surface characteristics of the fluorinated graphites were determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The crystallinity of fluorinated graphites were evaluated using X-ray diffraction (XRD). Electrochemical properties of the fluorinatied graphites supported platinum-ruthenium catalysts were analyzed by cyclic voltammetry in 1.0 M CH_3OH + 0.5 M H_2SO_4 solutions.
