Preparation and performance of mesophase pitch based graphite foam

摘要

Graphite foam was prepared from coal tar based mesophase pitch directly through foaming, carbonization and graphitization processes. The resulting graphite foam was obtained with the specific compression strength of 2.8MPa and specific thermal conductivity of 95.4W/mK.
