摘要

Basic research of carbon nanotubes advances. Interaction between carbon nanotubes and electromagnetic field changes properties such as transport property. Thus, it is expected to find new and useful properties under interaction between carbon. Hereafter, deep understanding of the interaction for large nanotube system is needed to develop the real application of carbon nanotubes. We develop a large-scale simulation code for analysis of interaction between carbon nanotubes and electromagnetic field, by combining tight-binding molecular dynamics model and microscopic Maxwell's equations. In this paper, we show the basic equations of interaction between carbon nanotubes and electromagnetic field for simulation of useful properties such as resonance of electromagnetic waves by size effect in nanotubes. Our most interesting phenomenon is resonance of electromagnetic waves by size effect in nanotubes.
