PARALLEL SIMULATION STUDY ON PROJECT’S SCHEDULE BASED ON JAVA MULTI-THREAD TECHNOLOGY

摘要

During the development of complex products, the processes of progress may be subjected to some kinds of distribution, leading the project schedule to be uncertain. The traditional project schedule management less considers the uncertainty of processes’ time. This may cause the project delay. There exist a huge number of nodes in the project’s network planning and the time of simulation’s computing increase correspondingly. Based on Java multi-thread technology and the use of grid computing, the author makes a parallel simulation to a case as a verification of the actual item under the Monte-Carlo theory. Through this theoretical and practical operation, the author proves that this approach can determine the schedule of probability distribution, to clear the key route, shortening the simulation time and improve efficiency.
