摘要

In this article, the 3D turbulent flow in a turbine runner is simulated. The SIMPLEC algorithm is introduced for solving incompressible Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equation closed with a modified k -ε two equations turbulent model. The code developed in this paper is validated for some standard test cases and applied to calculate viscous flow through the turbine runner. Predictions give the velocity vectors and the pressure field.
