Total daily maximum load(TDML) program in Korea has been set up to improve water quality of public water body like Nakdong river since 2005. So pollutant concentrations and loads discharged from public wastewater treatment plant(PWTP) has been regulated and assigned. It is important to collect and transfer sewage to PWTP for the effective treatment of them. But, sewer collection system in our country suffer form insufficient capacity, construction failures and pipe deterioration in the long-term periods. The consequences are structural damage, local floods, backflow into catchment, street erosion, ground water contamination and receiving waters. Korean government spend in the order of 100 billion US$ to 2010 for wastewater network, specially pipe rehabilitation. Accuracy of values for parameters and factors using TDML program is a need that parallels the rise in awareness and concern about the effects of sewage pollution to perform its program successfully, but these values is not correct yet in Korea. Addressing these limitations is essential to improving and calibrating the parts of sewer in TDML plan by using monitoring of sewer system. Therefore, this research aims to suggest and derive effectively the parameters and factors for the whole sewer management plan and the characteristics of discharged pollutants through monitoring and analyzing of pollutants like organic materials, nitrogen and phosphates and flowrates in sewer system of semi-urban areas.
