A Study on The Chemical Reaction of HCl with HDI in The HDI Preparation Process

摘要

This paper investigates the reaction of HDI with HCl in HDI preparation process by phosgenation. The influences of HDI concentration, quantity of HCl and temperature were investigated. The results prove that HCl has an important influence on the HDI preparation process, it is likely to form by-products of single-chloro-isocyanate (Cl-HI) and "analogous hydrochloride" substance.
