Wellington boots are commonly used by workers, country men or whereever are wet and cold conditions are exisiting .These wellington boots are mostly out of Rubber or PVC. These Boots are heavy and they have an unambitious design. Themachines which are used to produce the Rubber and PVC wellington boots can not produce in an economic way, because ofvery long cycle times, provoked by the vulcanisation process of the rubber or by the cooling times of the PVC. DESMAdeveloped therefore a new generation of producing wellington boots out of Polyurethane in the most economic way. ThePolyurethane can be used as a bootleg material as well as the outsole material, it is a dual density one step process. But alsoother outsole materials are applicable. Are there very wet conditions, pre-produced rubber outsoles can be used. Theserubber outsoles will be inserted during the production process. Is there a need for more abrasion resistance, TPU outsolescan be adapted. This multifunctional machine gives the Polyurethane industry new opportunities to substitute prior usedmaterials like Rubber or PVC and makes it possible to produce the Wellington boots to a far more economy price.
