Various techniques of remote sensing are used to the study of Arancibia's landslides. Images from LANDSAT are used to complete this assignment with the idea of completing the geodynamic history of Arancibia. Some aerial photographs were used. The space and time evolution of the landslides in the region are presented here. The events of the year 2000 are studied in detail. A high spatial resolution digital elevation model was used to determined the flow direction. The role played by the lagoons in the sliding is also studied.
