The mobile navigation and positioning system is used to cany out dynamic auto-navigation of mobile objects. The key technologies, such as spatial vector data storage and management, spatial topology generation, spatial index generation, receiving and computation of positioning data, map matching etc, are emphatically analyzed. At last, the paper presents the implementation and application of the mobile navigation and positioning system based on PDA.
