DSCA: A Coarse-Grain NUCA For CMP System

摘要

Chip Multiprocessors (CMPs) will have more cores and larger on-chip cache capacity in the future. The design of on-chip cache hierarchy has significant impact on processor's performance. Non-Uniform Cache Architecture (NUCA) is a shared cache architecture supporting data migration among cache banks according to access frequency.In this paper, we propose a coarse-grain NUCA 23% over traditional "Dance Hall" design.
