摘要

The Qinling Orogenic Belt of China Central Orogenic System is a unique continental composite orogenic belt which differs from the existing orogenic patterns. Its prominent characters are composite evolvement under both different tectonic regime and different evolvement stage, meanwhile it also is a composite orogeny superposed orogenic system from different aspects. As an area where the geological heritages of orogenic belt are preserved completely, it represents the basic geological characters of both North Qinling thick-skinned imbricate overthrust nappe tectonic belt and obduction nappe tectonic belt in the north margin of South Qinling. Mt. Funiushan, an important ridge of the modem Chinese continent and the natural division of geology, geography, ecology, climate between the south and north in china, play an important role during the formation and evolvement of Chinese Mainland. Mt. Funiushan world geopark of henan in planning will became a continental dynamics research base for geologist in native and abroad.
