摘要

Ambient vibration test is an effective and economic method for identification of dynamic properties and verification of mathematical models of different structural systems. Generally, as built properties obtained from ambient vibration tests. In addition, the results of mathematical models depend on the assumptions such as material, geometry, loading and model simplifications. On the other hand, national building codes consider empirical equations for determination of fundamental period in order to determination of seismic design forces. In this paper, the results of ambient vibration test results of different real as-built structures presented. A comparison and discussion of frequencies obtained from test results with analytical results and code recommendations is the main objective of this paper. There are marked differences in some cases.
