In the paper, hierarchical SAPO-34 was successfully synthesized by adding organosilane surfactant into conventional SAPO-34 synthesis mixture. The prepared SAPO-34 zeolite which was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) shows micro/mesoporous structure. The synthesized hierarchical SAPO-34 was applied to methanol to olefin (MTO) reaction. The results showed that the hierarchical SAPO-34 exhibits longer lifetime and better performance in MTO reaction than conventional SAPO-34.
