The authors show the applicability of the finite network method (FNM) method to eddy-current testing. The described method is an expansion of former models to eddy current modelling. In former publications the practicability of finite network method (FNM) is shown (([1], ([2], ([4]). Furthermore, introducing magnetizing currents FNM can deal with ferromagnetic materials [3], [5]). The massive conducting volume is discretised into cuboid volume elements. The mid nodes of neighboring cuboid volume elements are connected by branches and form a staggered grid with respect to the volume discretisation (see fig 1). Every branch of the staggered grid is assigned with its averaged Ohmic resistance. Each resistor element has the conductivity γ_i, length c_i and the face area A_i.
