The scattering parameters of a slotted waveguide are computed using a Finite Element-Boundary Integral procedure where the Fast Multipole Method is applied to the boundary integral formulation in order to enable an efficient solution of the hybrid system. The computed reflection and transmission coefficients are compared with measured results to establish the accuracy of the method.
