ADB vice president: Roads will spur Asia’s growth

Wencai Zhang, a vice president of the Asian Development Bank, delivered a keynote speech yesterday on the means needed for comprehensive growth in road transport infrastructure that would overcome Asia’s current economic difficulties. Zhang, responsible for operations in the South Asia Department and the Central and West Asia Department at the ADB, also emphasized the importance of that infrastructure for expanding markets and regional integration.
