摘要

A variety of fluoropolymers and fluoroelastomers have been developed with Tetrafluoroethylene(TFE) monomer as key monomer. ETFE is based on copolymer of TFE and Ethylene. FEPM is based on copolymer(elastomer) of TFE and Propylene(Pr). Both of ETFE and FEPM was introduced by Asahi Glass Co., Ltd under the trade name of Fluorf ETFE and AFLAS* . These are polymerised with TFE and hydrocarbon-olefins and controlled as alternating copolymer. Alternating copolymer has both good heat resistance derived from TFE and good processablility derived from hydrocarbon-olefins at same time. Nowadays Fluon" ETFE and AFLAS* are widely used in various industry.
