摘要

Thermal emissivity is a key parameter for modelling of the thermal environment of spacecrafts. The ECSS-Q- 70-09 [1] describes methods for the determination of thermal emittance following different approaches: ? Thermal test method ? Infrared spectrometer ? Portable equipment. Due to the fundamental principles the methods are based on, not exactly the same parameter is determined, some methods cover the hemispherical emittance εh (thermal infrared), others the normal emittance εn (portable equipment). Whereas εh is more representative for modelling, εn is the more common parameter being determined. Taking the ECSS-Q-70-09 as a baseline, results obtained by the different approaches are shown to establish the reliability and the most common sources of error of each method.
