摘要

The anti-oxidation properties of 3,7-di-iso-octyl-phenothiazineand 4,4’-di-iso-octyl-diphenylamine as well as their mixtures in PAO wereevaluated. The relationships between the properties of the antioxidants andtheir contents were investigated. The results showed that3,7-di-iso-octyl-phenothiazine exhibited much better inhibition performanceto the increase of viscosity and acid number of the tested samples than thatof its raw material 4,4’-di-iso-octyl-diphenylamine. Good anti-oxidationproperties were observed, even the concentration of3,7-di-iso-octyl-diphenylamine reduced to a trace amount. It seems that thedecomposed product would likely provide the anti-oxidative capacity to acertain extent. The synergistic effect of the mixtures consisted of3,7-di-iso-octyl-phenothiazine and 4,4’-di-iso-octyl-diphenylamine werestudied.
