Environmental impact of solvent processes for CO_2 capture

摘要

This paper presents the results of a study into the environmental impact of solvent processes for CO_2 capture using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The study has considered both post- and pre-combustion process. The weighing of different environmental effects has been carried out using the method of shadow prices, allowing for a direct comparison between different capture processes.
