Subject of this paper is to describe the tool developed for the 1553 frame generation for the VEGA flight program. It explains the context of the project before the decision of development, the aim of the tool, some standards and concepts on what the tool is based and some constraints. The place of the tool between the system definition and the ADA code gives the opportunity to add some checks hardly made by hand. In conclusion, the tool is designed to allow customisations, evolutions and reusability giving the user an improvement of the generation process and allowing a kick response to changes of system definitions.
