摘要

This paper focuses on company strategy problems of the small and medium-sized construction enterprises which form the foundation of construction industry in China.On the basis of applying the value chain theory to construction industry and SWOT analysis to this kind of enterprises,analyzes the value chain of construction enterprises and construction industry,a conclusion can be gotten that the small and medium-sized construction enterprises can find their competitive advantages in participating in a few value activities in the value chain of construction industry and make them as their own core competency although the lack of capital and limitation in management.And then,according to different matching of internal strengths and weaknesses to exterior opportunities and threats,four kinds of strategies are put forward,namely focus strategy,subcontractor strategy,combination strategy,and diversification strategy,as the references to this kind of enterprises.
