Research on Application of BPR in Scientific Research Management Process Reengineering —Chongqing Institute of Technology as An Example (ID: 5-084)

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is is the redesign of business processes and the associated systems and organizational structures to achieve a dramatic improvement in business performance, and at the same time it is a method which can improve the performance of an enterprise in cost, quality, service and speed to meet the environment of uncertain customers, competition and changes (3C). Based on the prevenient research results of BPR, a basic frame of BPR is proposed, and its thoughtway and technology are conformable to reengineer the scientific research management in the universities. The scientific research management is one of the most important management for a university. The core process of scientific research management in Chongqing Institute of Technology is analyzed. The reconstructed business process frame for scientific research management is found in function frame, net construction and technology architecture, and the feasibility and benefit are analyzed in brief.
