PROPOSAL OF DECISION SUPPORT USING DEMAND FORECASTING SYSTEM IN PRIVATE MANAGEMENT RESTAURANTS AND CASE STUDY

In Japan, private management restaurants are in crisis situation because of company management restaurants. The company management restaurants investigate a condition of location enough when they open a new restaurant. On the other hand, the private management restaurants cannot investigate enough because they cannot easily change their location. Also the company management restaurants can reduce a cost by the demand forecasting system. However, the demand forecasting system for the private management restaurants has not been found as having investigated by various papers. Therefore, as one of the strategies, we research the demand forecasting for the private management restaurants, construct decision support system as a tool that supports the decision-making in the private management restaurants, and show the effectiveness by the case study.
