The thermal decomposition behaviour of decabromodiphenyl oxide(DBDPO) and decabromodiphenyl ethane(DBDPE) were studied using a conventional dynamic thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) in a owing N2 atmosphere at several heating rates between 5 and 20°C/min. The activation energy was determined by using Friedman method.
