A novel process for preparing carbon/carbon composites was developed in this paper, which is the microwave pyrolysisdeposition technology. A set of equipments of microwave-heating was designed by ourselves. the composites are prepared bymicrowave heating with this novel process. Based on the characteristic of conventional chemical vapor deposition forprocessing carbon/carbon composites and rapid heating and whole heating of microwave. The effect of microwave-heatingand the temperature distribution are investigated with carbon fibre felts in the microwave heating furnace. Furthercarbon/carbon composites was prepared by the novel process—microwave pyrolysis deposition technology in thetemperature range of 900~1100°C, and the bulk density was mensurated.
