ICVI processes are restricted by the deposition kinetics. In this paper two different momentum and mass transport modelscoupled to simplified reaction kinetics were built to simulate the mass transport patterns of ICVI processes. One model wasbased on the classical diffusion principle in a vertical and cylindrical reactor, while the other was treated as an instance ofBrinkman Equations, i.e. an extended Darcy's law. Results showed that concentration of propylene varied from bottom to topand mass transport by Brinkman flow in preforms can be neglected.
