In order to evaluate the CO2 caturing capacity of palletized sorbent, the preparation of sorbent, multicycle tests withthermogravimetric analyzer(TGA) and fixed bed reactor were carried out. From the characterizing studies of sorbentaccording to change mixing ratio of candidiate materials such as reactant, binder and additives. Type-C sorbent (CaCO3 90wt%, bentonite 5wt%, enterolith 5wt%) was selected as a best sorbnet because it showe the highest reactivity in TGA tests.The sorbents were analyzed by ICP, SEM, BET and XRD. Sorbent performance in successive tests was conducted in a fixedbed reactor.Constant capacity of sorbent was maintained below 700 hr-1 at 1 atm and below 500 hr-1 at 3 atm as a result ofbreakthrough test at several space velocity such as 300, 500, 700 and 1,000 hr-1. Maximum CO2 loading per one gram ofsorbent was 0.21 g at 1 atm and 750 °C, and 0.15g at 3 atm and 750 °C. In 10 multicycle tests at 1-3 atm and 750 °C,maximum C/Co was maintained at 0.93-0.97.
