A novel archetype, abstracted from published work and supported by anecdotal analogiesis proposed. Its novelty is evidenced by a comparison with the 'Relative Control' archetype fromWolstenholme's classification. The significant difference is the inclusion of the whole structurewithin the system boundary. The effect is to create a 'political' archetype: a structure representingthe struggle between two opposed policies.
