A Joint Model for Semantic Role Labeling

We present a semantic role labeling systemsubmitted to the closed track of theCoNLL-2005 shared task. The system, introducedin (Toutanova et al., 2005), implementsa joint model that captures dependenciesamong arguments of a predicateusing log-linear models in a discriminativere-ranking framework. We also describeexperiments aimed at increasing therobustness of the system in the presenceof syntactic parse errors. Our final systemachieves F1-Measures of 76.68 and 78.45on the development and the WSJ portionof the test set, respectively.
