For biodegradable thermosensitive polymericnanoparticles, alternating multi-block copolymers(MBC) were synthesized by coupling dicarboxylatedPEG with PLA/PEG/PLA triblock copolymers. Thenanoparticles from MBC had a spherical shape with asize range of 90-330 nm and low critical aggregationconcentration (CAC) (12.6-5.6 (μg/L)), depending onthe PLLA length. MBC nanoparticles showed atemperature-sensitivity around physiologicaltemperature (37 to 42 °C). At 42 °C, doxorubicin(DOX) loaded MBC nanoparticles showed enhancedcytotoxicity against Lewis Lung Carcinoma (LLC),while its cytotoxicity at 37 °C was low at the testedconcentration range.
